ABOUT JUANFLIX

What is JuanFlix?

JuanFlix: The FDCP Channel is a streaming platform that offers quality content for local and international film enthusiasts, learners, and filmmakers with a careful curation of homegrown and world cinema that inspires, enriches, and challenges perspectives.

Starting November 11, 2022, please note that existing FDCP Channel members would be able to continue enjoying their paid subscriptions on JuanFlix until they expire.

ACCOUNT AND REGISTRATION

How do I create a JuanFlix account?

1. Go to the JuanFlix website: https://juanflix.com.ph/
2. Choose your desired subscription.
3. Pay for your subscription through one of our accredited payment channels via Paymongo.

Is creating a JuanFlix account free?

JuanFlix will have a library of free content that you may access by registering for free.
However, to fully experience the channel and unlock all content, you may subscribe for as low as P49/month or P349/year.

I forgot my password. What should I do?

Forgot your password? No worries — just click on the 'Forgot Password' link on the login page. Follow the instructions to reset your password via email.

APP USAGE

Is JuanFlix available on mobile devices?

Yes, JuanFlix is available on both Android and iOS — so you can watch your favorite Pinoy films anytime, kahit saan.

Can I download films for offline viewing?

JuanFlix now supports offline viewing through the mobile app. You can download selected films, including PPV titles, and watch them anytime within your access period.

What kind of films are available on JuanFlix?

Juanflix offers a wide variety of Filipino films — from classic favorites and indie gems to contemporary blockbusters, documentaries, and student films. Whether you're into drama, comedy, romance, or action, there's something for every Juan.

Are subtitles available?

Yes, selected films on JuanFlix come with subtitles. You can enable or disable them through the video player settings, depending on availability per title.

PAY PER VIEW (PPV)

What is Pay Per View (PPV) on JuanFlix?

Pay‑Per‑View (PPV) allows you to rent select international films for individual viewing. These titles are not included in your monthly or annual subscription. Instead, you can pay a small fee (typically ₱49 per film) to unlock access to the film for 7 days, with unlimited streaming during that period. 

How do I access PPV films?

Log in to your JuanFlix account and go to the Pay‑Per‑View section. Choose a film, pay the rental fee (usually ₱49), and enjoy 7-day unlimited access to watch the film anytime.

How much does PPV film cost?

A Pay‑Per‑View (PPV) film on JuanFlix costs ₱49 per title, giving you 7-day unlimited access to stream it during that rental window.

What are the payment methods for PPV?

You can pay via Paymongo, which supports GCash, Maya, credit/debit cards, and more.

How long can I watch a film after purchasing via PPV?

Once rented, you have 7 days of unlimited access to watch the film anytime within that period.

Is PPV included in my premium subscription?

No, PPV films are not included in any subscription plan. They must be rented separately for a one-time fee per title.


Can I download PPV films for offline viewing?

JuanFlix now allows offline viewing for PPV films through the mobile app. After renting a film, you can download it directly to your device and watch it anytime within the 7-day access period.

Can I watch PPV films on my Smart TV?

Yes, you can stream via your Smart TV's web browser or cast from your phone or laptop using devices like Chromecast or Apple TV.

SUBSCRIPTION & PAYMENT

How much is a JuanFlix subscription?

JuanFlix offers the following plans:
- Premium plan – ₱49/month or ₱349/year
- Basic plan – free, with limited access to short films and free content only

How do I subscribe or upgrade my plan?

Log in to juanflix.com.ph, go to your account, and choose the Premium plan (₱49/month or ₱349/year). Pay via PayMongo using GCash, Maya, credit/debit cards, and more. Your access begins immediately after payment. 

What are the payment methods for JuanFlix subscriptions?

JuanFlix now supports PayMongo as a payment method. You can pay using GCash, Maya, credit/debit cards, and other supported options through PayMongo when subscribing or renting Pay-Per-View content.

Will my subscription renew automatically?

Yes — unless you cancel, your Premium subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle. When your paid subscription expires, you are automatically moved to the Free plan. 

How can I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription by going to your profile page. After cancellation, your account will switch to the Free plan at the end of your billing period.

SMART TV & SCREENCAST

Can I watch JuanFlix on my Smart TV?

Yes, you can watch JuanFlix on your Smart TV using the built-in web browser. Just go to juanflix.com.ph and log in. You can also cast from your phone or laptop using devices like Chromecast or Apple TV.

How do I access the screencast feature on JuanFlix?

JuanFlix supports screencasting. While watching a film, tap the cast icon on the video player. Then, select your Smart TV or casting device (like Chromecast or AirPlay) from the list. Make sure your device and TV are connected to the same Wi‑Fi network for smooth casting.

TROUBLESHOOTING

The app is not working properly. What should I do?

Try logging out and back in, restarting your device, or reinstalling the app. Make sure you have a stable internet connection. If the issue continues, contact support at juanflix@fdcp.gov.ph and include details or screenshots of the problem.

The website is not loading or isn't working properly. What should I do?

First, refresh the page or try a different browser. Clear your browser cache and check your internet connection. If the issue continues, contact support at  juanflix@fdcp.gov.ph with details and a screenshot, if possible.

OTHERS

Can I suggest a film to be added on JuanFlix?

Yes! You can send your film suggestions to juanflix@fdcp.gov.ph. The team regularly reviews feedback and may include requested titles in future updates.

Is JuanFlix available internationally?

Yes, JuanFlix can be accessed worldwide through your browser. However, some films may be region-restricted due to licensing rights.
